A dairy herd management system (DHMS) built for Arid Agriculture University: recording, analytics and reporting for research herds.
The work
Research herds carry a heavier recording burden than commercial ones. Every animal, every event, every measurement, kept in a form that will still make sense to someone analysing it three years later.
DHMS handles the recording, the analytics on top of it, and the reporting that turns years of accumulated observations into something a researcher can work with.
